VIDEO: The Great Bike Adventure

Kids and Company takes kids on a 24-mile trek through Minneapolis.

offers the Kids & Company program to local kids as an exciting after-school and summer break activity. As part of the 2011 BLinK (Building Leadership in Kids) program, students in 5th to 7th grade can take part in Bike Adventure.

The Bike Adventure began in Minneapolis and wound around the lakes with stops at the Sculpture Garden, the Stone Arch Bridge and Northrup Mall at the University of Minnesota.

Cosponsored by Active Solutions and Erik's Bike Shop, the train of nearly fifty student riders and many adult guides stretched out to nearly a block long. With walkie-talkies at key points, it was no mystery why the leaders shouted out "All aboard!" as they left their destinations.
