PHOTOS: Tonka Cross Country Struggles at Lake Conference Meet

Both boys and girls teams took fifth place. Lucy Hoelscher took third and Kyle Anderson took fifth overall.

The Minnetonka boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Lake Conference meet at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista on Thursday. 

The boys team finished in fifth place with a team score of 92 points. Kyle Anderson took fifth place for the Skippers with a time of 16:19 and Ricardo Celleri placed 17th in a time of 16:34. 

The girls team also took fifith place with a team score of 125. Eighth-grader Lucy Hoelscher took third place with a time of 15:12. Following her was Maggie Carruth who placed 27th with a time of 16:06.

The Skippers teams will host a meet on Oct. 19 at home.
