Students Have 'Whiteout' For Jablonski

Local schools honored the paralyzed hockey player, Jack Jablonski, by wearing white.

was a sea of white on Thursday, as students wore the color to honor paralyzed hockey player Jack Jablonski.

Jablonski, a 16-year-old Benilde-St. Margaret's sophomore, sustained the injury during a junior varsity game on Dec. 30. He underwent spinal surgery on Wednesday, and on Thursday his neurosurgeon said Jablonski would likely .

A number of schools in the metro area, including , and Shakopee, had "whiteouts" of their own to honor Jablonski, as did students outside the state.
