Eight Compete for Four School Board Seats
Filing closed for the office of school board member of Minnetonka School Distrct #276 on Tuesday, Aug. 16.
Eight candidates will vie for four Minnetonka School Board seats on Election Day.
Lisa Sumner, Laurie Stoltenberg, Kevin Maire, Derek Eitreim, Charlie Kanan, Joe Torelli and incumbents Lisa Wagner and Karen Walkowski filed for the postitions.
Filing for the office of school board member of Minnetonka School Distrct #276 began on Aug. 2 and closed at 5 p.m. on Aug. 16. Four school board member will be elected in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Cal Litsey, Paul Luehr, Karen Walkowski and Lisa Wagner currently occupy the positions.

Minnetonka School District is governed by a seven-member school board. Board members are elected at-large, by residents of the school district, to four-year terms. Elections are held in odd-numbered years on Election Day.
