Senior Spotlight: Sarah Gerton

Between now and graduation, Patch will be featuring some of these great kids. And we hope the community will take pride in some of the young adults who will represent Minnetonka in the years to come.

What activities were you involved in while at Minnetonka High School?

I was a writing coach, in the Pit Orchestra, the Marching Band, the Pep Band, the Jazz Band and NHS.

What activities do you do outside of school?

Volunteering.

What are your future plans?

I'm going to try my luck in publishing, as an author or an editor.

What has been your best experience growing up in Minnetonka?

Participating in the school marching band.

What are you most proud of in your life?

Helping other students in

  • Favorite music? It changes weekly.
  • Favorite book? It’s currently "Pale Fire" by Vladimir Nabokov.
  • Favorite television show? Glee!
  • Favorite food? Cereal.

Ms. Saunders, Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Mortensen.

What is a fun fact that someone might not know about you?

I play flute and trombone, and enjoy them both.
