What are your future plans?

I would really like to do something in US foreign policy that would allow me to travel a lot. My dream job would be to work for the CIA, and ultimately be its director.

What has been your best experience in Minnetonka?

I didn't grow up here, so my best experience in Minnetonka has actually been meeting the people and hearing their stories. The people in Minnetonka and in the Minneapolis area seem to come from all over and have such different life stories—it's fascinating seeing how diverse people can be.

What are you most proud of in your life?

I'm proud of the open mind that I've adopted. I love nothing more than meeting people of different opinion because I want to hear their side and their view. I'm a "no right way" kind of person, so being able to accept and interact with diverse groups of people has really enriched my way of thinking. I'm also beyond excited to speak at graduation. It’s something that I've always wanted to do.

What’s your….

  • Favorite music? Right now I'm really liking Mumford and Sons, but I like everything from Dave Matthews to Lupe Fiasco, Eminem to Dubstep.
  • Favorite book? I have never had a favorite book, but I love realistic fiction...I'm not a big fantasy novel girl.
  • Favorite television show? Criminal Minds and Law & Order, because they kind of test the limits of your faith in humanity, but then justice is served—not always, but it's still satisfying.
  • Favorite food? I love fruit! But my favorite type of cuisine is definitely Asian food.

Can you name your favorite teacher(s)?

I've had so many, both in Kansas and Minnetonka, but I find that I not only like my teachers at Minnetonka, but also respect them immensely.

What is a fun fact that someone might not know about you?

I didn't grow up here! I'm originally from Wisconsin, but I lived in Wichita for 14 years until I moved to Minnetonka in October of 2009.
