Need Valentine's Day Plans? Eat Out at the MHS Heart Week Benefit Dinner

The Valentine's Day dinner, catered by Spasso, raises money for families in need.

Minnetonka High School Student Government invites you and your family to a dinner on Valentine's Day.

As the high school celebrates Heart Week, students are raising money for families in need.

The benefit dinner and silent auction will be hosted in the MHS cafeteria from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14. Catered by Spasso, the menu includes chicken parmesan or spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, dinner roll, cookie and water or coffee. Tickets are $10 apiece or $40 for families of four or more. Purchase tickets from any Student Government member, in the MHS Student Union from 11-2 p.m. February 11-14 or purchase tickets online.

Silent auction items will also be on display for your bidding.

This event raises money for district families in need of financial helpstudents and families in the Minnetonka School District who cannot afford the medical, educational and everyday financial burdens many of us take for granted. Funds raised will go to Minnetonka Family Friends, a 501 c (3) non-profit organization.

Last year, guidance counselors helped distribute the funds raised during Heart Week to Minnetonka families in need—everything from a student's ACT application to their family's heating bill.
