Minnewashta Students Donate on Behalf of Danielle Renninger

While reading a book book in preparation of donating to a needy family, first graders noticed it was donated by former student Danielle Renninger, who was killed in a car accident in February.

Students at are helping needy families one goat at a time.

After reading the book, "Beatrice’s Goat" by Page McBrier, first grade students have been collecting money to buy a goat for a needy family in Africa.

In the book, Beatrice and her family receive a goat allowing them to earn money for Beatrice to attend school. Minnewashta first graders have been doing small jobs at home to earn money to buy a goat through World Vision.

While reading the book, the students noticed it was donated to the media center by former student , who was killed in a car accident in February. Their donation was sent in honor of Danielle.
