Minnetonka Student Artists Win 21 Scholastic Art Awards

Twelve Minnetonka High School artists won a total of 21 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards, and their winning artwork is on display through Feb. 26.

has announced that 12 art students received a total of 21 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards this year, including six Gold Key, six Silver Key and nine Merit Awards. 

The artwork is judged on originality, technical skill and emergence of a personal vision. The students’ art is part of the Minnesota Scholastic Art Exhibition which is open to the public daily through Feb. 26 at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s Gallery.

The students will be honored at the nex Minnetonka School Board Meeting on Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
