Mrs. Lovelace's second grade class know their manners. Please, thank you, excuse me. Education is the top priority, but manners can supplement learning.
The High Tea party at Groveland Elementary is the culmination of a year's worth lessons in manners. It is a reward for the excellent behaviors the students have demonstrated. The students dress up, invite family members and recite poetry. For these second graders, it is an event to remember.
