The Fascinating Dimensions of Culture with Tom Muller, Ph.D.

Tom Muller, Ph.D., one of the world's most traveled individuals, will help us understand our own behavior as well as that of people from many different parts of the world. Why do we dress the way we do? Why is obesity a stigma in some cultures and a status symbol in others? Why are dogs loved in some parts of the world, but contemptible in others? Born in Nairobi, Kenya to Czechoslovakian parents and educated in Kenya, Iran, Britain and Canada, Tom experienced a multicultural upbringing. He has visited 269 of the world's 872 countries, overseas territories, autonomous regions, island groups and major political divisions. Join us and learn more about Muller’s insights and adventures.

The presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.  Register at TheMarsh.com or call 952-935-2202. There is a $20 charge, $10 for Marsh members.
