Nuclear Weapons: Disarmament or Disaster?

St. Luke Presbyterian Church will host a forum featuring the topic of Nuclear Weapons.

St. Luke’s Peace and Justice Focus Group will discuss many issues, including: Will the current drive for disarmament of nuclear weapons continue?  Can nuclear weapons be abolished? Will Iran get The Bomb?  Can nuclear war in the Middle East be prevented? Should our government spend $500 billion on upgrading our nuclear arsenal in the next decade – at a time of ever-increasing debt problems? What actions can citizens take to reduce the nuclear threat and build a safer world for future generations? Come join this spirited discussion.
