The fourth grade students at Excelsior Elementary School will present a Veteran’s Day program, featuring students singing patriotic songs, reading poetry and participating in the posting and retiring of colors.
Additionally, members from the Honor Flight Network will be honored for their work. This group is a Twin Cities based non-profit that transports our Veterans at no cost to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.
Guest speakers include:
- Curt Carpenter, Principal at Clear Springs Elementary (Air Force Veteran)
- Tad Shaw, Community member and former school board member (US Army Veteran)
