VIDEO: ‘One of the Most Historic Sessions of Our Time’: Murphy Praises DFL-Led Legislature

House Majority Leader Erin Murphy didn’t mince words Thursday during a back-to-school roundtable with Minnetonka Rep. Yvonne Selcer at Gatewood Elementary.

Murphy said she’s seen “more dysfunction than functional” during her legislative career but that the 2012 election changed that by sweeping in people like Selcer. The result was a DFL-led Legislature that passed legislation that ranged from the legalization of gay marriage to the education funding bill Murphy and Selcer were there to discuss.
