North Memorial Plans New Minnetonka Center
The Minnetonka Medical Center would be between Highway 7 and Highwood Drive.
Davis Real Estate Services Group wants to demolish four homes and a commercial building between Highwood Drive and Highway 7 to make way for a two-story North Memorial facility.
The Minnetonka Medical Center would be a 55,200-square-foot building—with 31,600 square feet on the main floor and 23,600 square feet on the second floor. Amenities would include a clinic, lab, pharmacy and imaging center, according to plans filed with the city.
The project would involve redeveloping three properties Highway 7 and four on Highwood Drive. It would require city approval for requests such as rezoning and a conditional use permit for medical clinic use.

The Planning Commission is scheduled to review the proposal April 25. The City Council is expected to consider it May 13.
