Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Readies for Move

The watershed district will open doors on its new office in Minnetonka on July 1.

Minnehaha Creek Watershed District only has a few more weeks in its Deephaven offices.

On July 1, the watershed district is moving to the old Relate Counseling building at 15320 Minnetonka Boulevard, Minnetonka. The new office has technology updates, and its proximity to Interstate 494 will improve visibility and access.

The district also plans to use the new office as a site to demonstrate cost-effective ways to filter and manage stormwater runoff.

Residents will not be able to reach some district staff during the move June 27 and 28, and some services will not be available. However, staff will be able to be reached by phone and e-mail.

Permit applications will be accepted at the existing offices through June 28 and resume normal operations at the new location July 1.
