League of Women Voters Council of Metropolitan Area Leagues (CMAL) Quarterly Meeting

The LWV- CMAL Quarterly Meeting is Saturday, Jan. 21 beginning with 9:30am registration and refreshments and closing at noon. It will be held at Woodlake Lutheran Church (7525 Oliver Ave. South, Richfield). 

You can enter the Parking Lot from Newton Ave North of So. 76th St.
 
We will look at the interactions between the Metropolitan Council and counties and cities in the 7-county Metro Area. A panel featuring: Anoka County Commissioner Carol LeDoux, Washington County Commissioner  Dennis Hegberg and Shoreview City Councilwoman Ady Wickstrom, former President of CMAL will explore what is working well, what needs improvement and what are specific problems of individual counties and cities when working with Met Council.

All members of local League of Women Voters leagues are automatically members of CMAL. This event is open to the public. Our goal is to increase knowledge and effectiveness of all members and the public to address governmental issues and problems. Welcome!
