City Council to Discuss Council Member Replacement on Nov. 14

The Minnetonka City council did not reach a conclusion on Nov. 2 and plans to discuss the matter again at its meeting on Nov. 14.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2, the Minnetonka City Council met to discuss options for replacement of Council member Amber Greves.

The council did not reach a conclusion at that meeting, and plans to discuss the matter again at its Monday, Nov. 14 regular council meeting. All of the replacement options under consideration are specified in the city charter, including an appointment by the council, a special election or possibly a combination of the two.

More details will be posted on the city website prior to the Nov. 14 meeting. Council member Greves announced in late October that she would be resigning her seat on the council sometime in December when she and her family move out of state.
