Police have issued a felony warrant for a 25-year-old Golden Valley man after he allegedly stole credit cards from a car and used them at the store in Minnetonka.
Matthew Thomas Rush faces one count of felony card fraud from an incident on June 29. Rush's whereabouts are currently unknown to probation and his last known residences were found vacant and boarded up.
If convicted, Rush faces up to five years in jail and/or a $10,000 fine.
After a checkbook was found in Minnetonka, the owner told police her credit cards and checkbook had been stolen from a car parked near Lake Harriet. She said her cards had been used for over $700 worth of merchandise at Target and a failed attempt to charge another $240.
Police identified Rush from surveillance video at Target.
