Police: Woman Illegally Bought Ring In Minnetonka, Returned It in Michigan

The woman is accused of using a Stolen Sears credit card to buy the ring.

A 24-year-old Detroit woman was arrested following allegations that she went to a Michigan store to try and return a ring that she fraudulently purchased in Minnetonka, CBS Detroit reported.

Police say the unidentified woman bought the $7,500 ring using a stolen Sears credit card. She then tried to return the ring at a Waterford Township store.

Employees told police they recognized the woman because she’d tried to return jewelry the day before and had her return declined.
