Police Say Man Becomes Enraged and Punches Supervisor

The victim suffered a concussion, a separated shoulder and underwent multiple physical therapy sessions as part of treatment.

After becoming unhappy with a work instruction, police say a St. Paul man assaulted his supervisor.

Anthony Matthew Pearson, 31, is charged with felony assault in the third degree.

On March 4, were dispatched to a job site at . Pearson was a temporary worker for the day. The supervisor told police that Pearson became defiant and used profanities after he was told what work to do. When the supervior dismissed him for the day, Pearson allegedly became enraged and punched the supervisor in the face.

If convicted of this charge, Pearson faces up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
