Police Blotter: Early Afternoon DWI, Vandalism Reported

May 1

11:08 a.m.; a man, 21, from Minnetonka was arrested at 4801 County Road 101 () for shoplifting, and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. This individual has previously been charged with drug possession.

Minnetonka Police responded to 4 reports of vandalism at homes on the 14200 block of Mount Ter, 5100 block of Glenview Drive, 12800 block of Orchard Drive, and 2600 block of Sheffield Circle S.

3:01 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 11300 block of Hwy 7 for a reported burglary.

May 2

1:43 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to a call regarding drug activity on the 12900 block of Fairfield Road W.

11:06 p.m.: a man, 39, from Minnetonka, was arrested from his home on the 3900 block of Evergreen Drive for domestic assault, a misdemeanor.

May 3

1:46 a.m.: a woman, 43, from Minnetonka, was arrested from her home on the 2600 block of Cedar Crest Road for domestic assault, a misdemeanor. This woman was charged with 5th degree assault in 1997 and 2002, a DWI misdemeanor in 1998, a DWI gross misdemeanor in 2001, 1st degree DWI felony in 2003 and a little disorderly conduct in 2001.

7:41 a.m.: a 28 year old male, from Plymouth, was arrested at Hwy 7 and Shady Oak Road for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over for passing another car by driving off the pavement. This gentleman has previously been charged for careless driving and public urination. Perhaps the treatment of frequent urination would curb his erratic driving tendencies.

5:10 p.m.: a woman, 19, from Lakeville, was arrested at 12411 Wayzata Boulevard () for larceny theft, a gross misdemeanor.

May 5

1:26 p.m.: a woman, 41, from New Hope, was arrested at Hwy 7 and Shady Oak Road for 2nd degree DWI test refusal, 3rd degree DWI, 3rd degree DWI for a hazardous substance, and open bottle. This lady was charged with a DWI misdemeanor in December of 2010.

2:05 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 5900 block of Pinewood Lane for a reported burglary.

May 6

1:55 a.m.: a man, 45, from Minnetonka, was arrested from his home on the 16100 block of Gladys Lane for domestic assault, a misdemeanor.

3:26 a.m.: a woman, 20, from Medina, was arrested at Xenium and Sunset for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

10:35 p.m.: a man, 55, from Minnetonka, was arrested near his home on the 10640 block of Greenbrier Road, for 3rd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This individual was charged with a DWI in 2007, and a misdemeanor for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence in combination with 5th degree assault in 1989.

May 7

2:53 a.m.: a man, 38, from Minnetonka, was arrested at an apartment building on the 5100 block of Boarshead Road for carrying a weapon while under the influence, a misdemeanor, and reckless discharge of a firearm, a felony. This gentleman was previously charged with DWI misdemeanor in 1990.

4:54 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 5400 block of Waters Edge Drive for a reported burglary.

11:49 p.m.: a man, 45, from Minnetonka, was arrested near 4801 CR 101 () for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.
