Police Annouce Winners of Night for Neighbors Food Drive
Collectively, 120 neighborhoods collected 10,300 pounds of food.
The results are in for Minnetonka's 2011 ICA food drive. Collectively, 120 neighborhoods collected 10,300 pounds of food.
In 2010, 100 neighborhoods collected 7,400 pounds of food and in 2009, 50 neighborhoods collected 4,148 pounds of food.
The Stoney Bridge Court neighborhood turned in 649 pounds of food this year, winning the collection drive for the third year in a row. The neighborhood won the prize of 40 cruise passes on the Queen of Excelsior.

Each summer, the the Minnetonka Police Department hosts Minnetonka’s Night for Neighbors on the first Tuesday in August. This year's annual event where neighbors got together to promote safety was Aug. 2.
