At about 2:40 p.m., deputies received a report that a vehicle had gone into Lone Lake in Lone Lake Park. Witnesses told deputies that they saw a woman driving an SUV and accelerating across the parking lot toward a large tree. The SUV missed the tree and went in the lake in a few feet of water so that the water covered the vehicle’s tires.

The driver was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, but her condition isn’t known.
