Minnetonka Police Bust Underage Party

Arson, an unlicensed dog, unrestrained child and an unruly commercial vehicle are all in this week's blotter.

July 3

1:24 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 16714 Seymour Drive () for reported suspicious activity. An 18 year old female was arrested for 5th degree arson and 1st degree criminal damage to property over $1000.

12:21 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a home on the 4800 block of Royal Oaks Drive to investigate a reported burglary.

8:14 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a home on the 4800 block of Highbury Lane for a reported animal problem. A 34 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested for not having a dog license. This man was previously charged with DWIs in 2005 and 2011.

July 4

12:45 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a traffic stop at Boulder Creek Drive and County Road 62, where a 19 year old male from Northfield was arrested for failure to obey traffic control, underage drinking and driving a vehicle in an unsafe condition.

July 5

12:43 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a home on the 5900 block of Covington Court for reported noise/loud music. There were 16 individuals, 9 males and 7 females, aged 19 to 20 years old, charged for underage liquor consumption.

2:46 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to an out of area traffic stop at Hwy 169 and Bass Lake Road, where a 24 year old female from Brooklyn Park was charged for not having her child passenger in a legal restraint system.

6:13 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 12401 Wayzata Boulevard () for reported weapon violence.

July 6

1:03 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a traffic stop at Hopkins Crossroad and I-394, where a 26 year old male from New Boston, Texas was charged for excessive speeding, driving unlawfully in an unsafe condition, not having an issued Commercial Vehicle medical certificate or Commercial Vehicle record of duty status in his possession.

9:34 p.m.: a 66 year old woman from Minnetonka was arrested at CR 73 and Cedar Lake Road for 2nd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This individual was previously charged with two other DWIs in 2009.

July 8

2: 28 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 5200 Shady Oak Road () to investigate reported drug activity.

3:47 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 12411 Wayzata Boulevard () for a reported shoplifting incident. A 34 year old male from Plymouth was arrested for possessing theft tools, a felony, and larceny shoplifting, a misdemeanor. This individual was previously charged with 5th degree assault, carrying weapons without a permit, using an unregistered vehicle with no proof of insurance, 4th degree DWI, providing false information to Police and Peace Officers, theft, repeated harassing phone calls, domestic assault, and violating a no contact order.

July 9

1:22 a.m.: a 60 year old male from Minneapolis was arrested at I-394 and I-494 for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor, and test refusal, a gross misdemeanor.

2:52 a.m.: a 41 year old male from Minneapolis, was arrested at Victory Memorial and Osseo Road for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

8:11 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a home on the 200 block of Willoughby Way W for a reported burglary.
