Police Blotter: Man Exposes Himself at Minnetonka Park

Man Exposes Himself to Teen at Minnetonka Park

On the evening of April 10, Minnetonka Police responded to a home in Minnetonka to investigate a claim that a man had exposed himself to a group of three 13-year-old girls at . According to the girls, they were walking along the south side of Stone Road when they saw a newer white SUV parked along the roadway. As the girls walked past the SUV, the man inside reportedly exposed himself to one of the three girls, before driving off. The SUV’s license plate was covered by a sheet of paper thus obscuring the plate numbers. The case was investigated, then closed by Minnetonka Police, without suspect.

Minnetonka Police do not believe this incident was in any way related to last month’s incident in which .

April 17

12:13 a.m.: a man, 72, from Minnetonka was arrested at TWELVE OAKS CENTER DR & PARKERS LAKE ROAD for fourth-degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

2:13 a.m.: a man, 20, from Minnetonka was arrested at him home in the 13400 BLOCK of ARTHUR ST W for underage consumption of alcohol. 

3:28 a.m.: a man, 33, from Minneapolis was arrested at PLYMOUTH RD & WAYZATA BLVD for third-degree DWI, refusal to submit to a field sobriety test, driving with an open container of alcohol and driving without proof of insurance. 

4:45 p.m.: a man, 49, from Minnetonka was arrested at 4801 CO RD 101 (Cub Foods) for shoplifting and trespassing. 

9:15 p.m.: a man, 56, from Hopkins was arrested in the 114000 BLOCK of MINNETONKA MILLS RD for third-degree DWI. 

April 18

1:54 a.m.: a man, 37, from Bloomington was arrested in the parking lot of Scenic Heights Elementary School at 5701 CO RD 101, for first-degree DWI, a felony.

7:38 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 4700 BLOCK of CO RD 101 after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time.

8:12 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 10500 BLOCK of CEDAR LAKE RD after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time. 

10:37 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 3300 BLOCK of PLYMOUTH RD after criminal sexual conduct was reported. No more information is available at this time.

11:14 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 5600 BLOCK of SMETANA DR after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time.

April 20

12:26 a.m.: a man, 20, from Milaca was arrested at 13505 EXCELSIOR BLVD on a warrant. He has been charged previously with theft and trespassing.

7:34 a.m.: two men, ages 25 and 26, both from Minnetonka, were arrested in their home in the 5600 BLOCK of GREEN CIRCLE DR for drug possession.

11:24 a.m.: a woman, 25, from Minnetonka was arrested at CO RD 62 & GLEN LAKE BLVD for driving after her license was suspended. She was arrested for the same charge in Sept. 2010.

6:02 p.m.: a man, 24, from Minnetonka was arrested at his home in the 5600 BLOCK of GREEN CIRCLE DR for domestic assault/strangle hands.

6:23 p.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 3400 BLOCK of RAINBOW DR after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time.

April 20

8:02 a.m.: a woman, 21, from Minnetonka was arrested at BAKER RD & EXCELSIOR BLVD for driving after her license was suspended.

April 22

12:30 a.m.: a man, 20, from Excelsior was arrested in the 5200 BLOCK of BLACK FRIARS LN for underage drinking and fourth-degree DWI. 

11:55 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 5100 BLOCK of BOARSHEAD RD after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time.

April 23 

6:43 a.m.: Minnetonka Police responded to the 5500 BLOCK of MAYVIEW RD after a burglary was reported. No more information is available at this time

10:05 a.m.: a man, 27, from St. Louis Park was arrested at GIZMO LN & MINNETONKA BLVD on an outstanding warrant. He has previously been charged with:  first degree burglary, second degree burglary, child sexual solicitation, second-degree assault,, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault and failure to register as a predatory offender.
