Minnetonka Police Blotter: Confiscated Drugs and Handicap Permits

Drugs confiscated by Minnetonka Police, who continue to crack down on unauthorized use of handicap parking permits.

Oct. 24

1:22 p.m.: Nicole Montague, a 27 year old female from Plymouth was arrested at 2801 Hopkins Crossroads () for 3rd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This woman has previously been charged with underage drinking, 4th degree DWI and driving without a valid license.

6:43 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 14300 block of Brandbury Walk for a reported burglary.

Oct. 25

Between 1:35 and 3:36 p.m.: Four individuals ranging between 51 and 74 years were charged with at 13201 Ridgedale Drive (Target).

Oct. 26

10 p.m.: Buster Duo, a 22 year old male from Hopkins was arrested at Highway 169 and Highway 7 for providing the police with a false name, a gross misdemeanor. This person has previously been charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, speeding and unlawful passing.

Oct. 27

1:26 a.m.: Kevin Bolland, a 42 year old male from Apple Valley was arrested at 2801 Hopkins Crossroad () for 3rd degree DWI and violating a restricted use drivers license, both gross misdemeanors. This man has previously been charged with 4th degree DWI and driving after cancellation of drivers license for being inimical to public safety.

1:43 a.m.: a 51 year old female from Minnetonka was arrested was arrested at 2801 Hopkins Crossroad () for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

4:42 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 10000 block of Greenbrier Road for a reported burglary.

5:15 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 10100 block of Greenbrier Road for a reported burglary.

8:33 a.m.: an 18 year old male from Minnetonka was charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid at 2400 Lindbergh Drive (Hopkins High School).

10:09 a.m.: Jimmie Bownes, a 40 year old male from Hopkins was arrested at 11315 Highway 7 (Pier 1 Imports) for 2nd degree possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. Baggies, suspected narcotics, a scale and $594 in cash were taken as evidence at the time of arrest. This individual has previously been charged with driving after his license was cancelled on several accounts, and domestic assault.

Oct. 28

1:03 a.m.: a 38 year old male from St. Paul was arrested from the 3100 block of Lake Shore Boulevard for violating an order for protection and interfering with a 911 call. This individual has previously been charged with driving after suspension, allowing a child to be without a seat-belt, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, no proof of insurance and several moving violations.

2:06 a.m.: a 21 year old female was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and open bottle in a motor vehicle, while an 18 year old male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana on the 5300 block of Holiday Road.

7:14 p.m.: Kerry Buckanaga, a 25 year old female from Naytahwaush, Minn. was arrested at 12421 Wayzata Boulevard (JC Penny) for 5th degree dangerous drug possession, a felony. This individual has previously been charged with a 4th degree DWI, 5th degree assault, theft, speeding, and 5th degree drug possession.

Oct. 29

12:36 a.m.: a 45 year old male from Bloomington was arrested at Rockford Road and Larch Lane for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor.

12:57 a.m.: Geoffrey Dunn, a 23 year old male from Eden Prairie was arrested at Highway 169 and Pioneer Trail for 3rd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This man was previously charged with 4th degree DWI and drug possession in a motor vehicle.

1:34 a.m.: Randell Allen, a 51 year old male from Delafield, Wisc. was arrested at Highway 394 and Plymouth Road for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor, and test refusal, a gross misdemeanor.

Oct. 30

2:14 a.m.: a 51 year old male from Wayzata was arrested at Highway 12 and Carlson Parkway for 4th degree DWI.
