Minnetonka Gas Station Scene of Armed Robbery
Monday night the Holiday Gas Station on Excelsior Boulevard was robbed at knifepoint.
Late Monday night the Holiday Gas Station at 13305 Excelsior Boulevard was the scene of an armed robbery, Minnetonka Police said Tuesday.
According to police, just after 10:30 p.m. an unknown assailant brandished a knife inside the Holiday Stationstore and robbed the gas station of an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then reportedly fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
Today, an employee was able to confirm the robbery, saying it happened as employees were getting ready to close the store, but could not give any more details.
