Minnetonka Fire Department Tackles Fire on Victor Lane

The home was severely damaged, but there were no injuries.

A fire broke out at a home in Minnetonka on Sunday night after 9 p.m.

The home is located at 15101 Victor Lane, west of I-494. Victor Lane is a dead end street off of Eden Prairie Road, near Eden Prairie's Birch Island Park.

When officers arrived on the scene on Dec. 1, smoke and fire were coming from the attached garage of a single family dwelling.  All of the occupants were evacuated from the home, and there were no injuries reported, according to the city.

The home was severely damaged as a result of the fire. The Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins and St. Louis Park fire departments assisted in extinguishing the fire. The cause is under investigation by Minnetonka Police, the Minnetonka Fire Marshal and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s office.
