Drug Activity Reported at Minnetonka Park

May 29

7:35 a.m.: a 24 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested at Hwy 62 and Shady Oak Road for driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance, having possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the vehicle.

May 30

7:40 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Birch Pl. for a reported burglary. No additional information is currently available.

10:19 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 3801 Victoria Street (Victoria - Evergreen Park) for reported drug activity. Three 20-year old males were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana (small amount).

11:03 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 5800 block of CO Road 101 for a reported assault.

May 30

11:51 p.m.: a 19 year old male from Upper Marshan Township, Minn. was arrested at County Road 101 and Hwy 7 for possession of marijuana (small amount).

May 31

7:16 a.m.: a 22 year old male from Fridley was arrested at Baker Road and I-494 for possession of marijuana (small amount) and no proof of insurance - the driver was not the owner.

June 2

2:27 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to Minnetonka Boulevard and Shady Oak Road for a reported DWI. A man, 49, of Minnetonka, was arrested for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana (small amount).

2:20 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to Excelsior Boulevard and Shady Oak Road for a reported DWI. A 53 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor. This man was previously charged with a DWI in 1998.

11:18 p.m.: a man, 32, of Excelsior, was arrested on the 17600 block of Minnetonka Boulevard for domestic assault, a felony. This gentleman has previously been charged with two 3rd degree DWIs, 3rd degreee criminal damage to property, driving after revocation on several accounts, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana, check forgery for more than $2,500, 5th degree assualt (domestic), public nuisance, 3rd degree sex crime and a DWI misdemeanor.

June 3

1:40 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to 2400 Lindbergh Drive (Hopkins High School) for a reported assault.

4:56 p.m.: a 21 year old female from Brooklyn Center was arrested at 12421 Wayzata Boulevard () for the property crimes, shoplifting and possession of shoplifting gear, a felony.

7:34 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to Hwy 169 and Bren Road E for a reported DWI. A woman, 37 years, of Robbinsdale, was arrested for 2nd degree DUI, a gross misdemeanor. This individual was charged with 4th degree DWI in 2002 and 3rd degree DWI in 2004.

10:31 p.m.: a 37 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested on the 5900 block of Camelot Circle for domestic assault, a misdemeanor.

June 5

1:33 a.m.: a 29 year old female from Maple Grove was arrested at I-494 and CR 6 for 4th degree DWI, a misdemeanor
