Crime Alert in Minnetonka: Six Burglaries Since Dec. 2

Most of the cases occurred during the afternoon and early evening hours and involve the suspect breaking a window to gain entry into the home.

Since Dec. 2, there have been six residential burglaries reported in Minnetonka, according to Minnetonka Police Chief Mark Raquet.

Most of the cases occurred during the afternoon and early evening hours and involve the suspect breaking a window to gain entry into the home. Items stolen include electronics and jewelry. There is no suspect description available.

Minnetonka Police are urging people to be watchful and aware of suspicious activity, vehicles and individuals in your neighborhood.

• If you notice an unfamiliar car parked on your street or in a neighbors driveway call 9-1-1.

• If you are leaving your home for any amount of time make your home appear occupied by leaving a light and/or radio on.
