Career Criminal Pleads Guilty to Burglaries in Minnetonka, Golden Valley

Jeffrey Boemer was identified after he fled the scene of a Minnetonka home, leaving behind a backpack that contained a prescription inhaler with his name on it.

A man who had been sought for a month by police for burglary has admitted guilt.

WCCO reports that Jeffrey Luke Boemer has pleaded guilty to least six burglaries this year in Minnetonka and Golden Valley– one count of first-degree burglary and five counts of second-degree burglary.

the night of Wednesday, June 13 in Minneapolis with a Lexus that had been stolen from Minnetonka. He was identified after he fled the scene of a Minnetonka home, leaving behind a backpack that contained a prescription inhaler with his name on it.

Police say after Boemer’s arrest, he admitted to the burglaries in Minnetonka and also to burglaries in Golden Valley, one in which he took a large diamond ring. Boemer entered the homes through windows and targeted homes on wooded lots.

Boemer will be sentenced later this month.
