Fasted Cardio To Burn More Fat

Here's an idea:

Try fasted cardio to help you burn fat.  In short, fasted cardio is cardio done before you have had a meal in the morning.  This is something I would suggest to people who have been dieting and working out to lose weight/fat and have stopped seeing results, or, in workout community terms, hit a plateau.

The idea is to do moderate intensity cardio for 40-60 minutes to dip into your fat stores.  Moderate intensity cardio is cardio that induces sweat but does not tax you completely.  Your breathing should allow you to be conversational.  High intensity cardio is not recommended in a fasted state and could actually do more harm than good, so, in other words, more is not better in this case.

One issue that may arise is a feeling of extreme hunger before you get to that first meal.  You need to fight the urge to over eat.  The last thing you want to do is replace the calories you just spent your early morning burning.
Fasted cardio is not a replacement for your normal workouts.  It should be used to complement your normal workouts with the hope of kicking your fat loss into another gear.
