Michael Doobie Kurus for Hopkins School Board

We encourage you to vote for Michael Doobie Kurus for Hopkins School Board.

Having been Hopkins educators, district residents for 20+ years and volunteers,
we feel that we have a pretty good pulse on the Hopkins Community.
First met Doobie while serving on the District Communications Committee and
was impressed  with his awareness of school district issues.

Recently we had the opportunity to enjoy an Italian meal prepared by Doobie for a fundraiser.
He has raised money for various non-profits including Resource West and ICA Food Shelf
through his willingness to donate his time, energy and money as a personal chef.

He's connected to the Hopkins community-his three children
attend Hopkins Schools (elementary and junior high) and his wife works at Resource West. 
His work in Early Childhood with the Minneapolis Public Schools places him
in the "know" in an area that needs continuous support.

The School Board can be the first rung to becoming a state legislator.  This is
is not his motivation.  Dobbie is a high energy community guy whose focus is on the
good of Hopkins as a whole.
