Letter: Vote Gaither, Stefan, Wahlstedt and Anderson For Best Chance at Success

"They all are the adults needed in the room to represent us in spending our tax dollars wisely and reforming regulations in a smart manner."

To the Editor:

Improving the business climate, growing jobs and prioritizing fiscal issues have never been so important. Senate District 44 voters have a great opportunity to make a very positive impact for their community.

David Gaither for Senate, Sarah Anderson for House 44A and Mark Stefan for 44B are fabulous choices in this election. They all are the adults needed in the room to represent us in spending our tax dollars wisely and reforming regulations in a smart manner.  They understand how to prioritize.

Mark Stefan may be someone you haven’t heard enough about.  He provides a great opportunity for House 44B to send an active business owner who actually knows how the economy works to the Capitol.

Our current SD 44 Senator and House 44B incumbent both are trying to sound like Republicans. Our current Senator could not convince the governor to sign education reform legislation. And, our House 44B incumbent wants you to believe he is concerned about small business. Don’t buy it. He has a master’s degree in political science. We don’t have a revenue problem, and we don’t need more tax increases.

Finally, please follow down further on your ballot and vote for the candidate who will actively manage to improve Hennepin County spending and property taxes, Dave Wahlstedt. He will lead well and wisely. He understands the big picture, seriously.

Vote Gaither, Stefan, Wahlstedt and Anderson….these are our best chances of success in a difficult economy.

David Lloyd, Minnetonka
