Minnetonka Rotary Presents Minnetonka High School Scholarship.

Press Release:  May 15th 7:00pm at the Minnetonka Performing Arts Center an Awards Ceremony took place honoring the Minnetonka High School Students who excelled in different areas with acknowledgement from various organizations.  The Minnetonka Rotary believes in “Building Responsible Youth” and identified a student for just such an award. Mark Magney of the Minnetonka Rotary presented Justin Horst with a scholarship for $2,000 to further his education. Justin has also achieved the following: National Merit Scholar finalist, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, a Member of the National Honor Society, was on the A Honor Roll for 15 straight quarters, was awarded a Yale Book Club Award, and was captain of the Minnetonka Nordic Ski Team.  This fall Justin will be attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and pursuing an engineering degree. For the evening there were almost fifty students who were presented with awards and scholarships for a variety of achievements.  Congratulations Justin.
 The Minnetonka Rotary meets at Eisenhower Community Center on Hwy 7 every Wednesday at 7:15am.
