I-35W Bridge Collapse Survivor Writes Book on His Experience

In Collapsed: A Survivor's Climb From the Wreckage of the I-35W Bridge, Ebling tells the story that he says has been missing from the investigations and the political debates—the story of the survivors. He writes firsthand accounts of the survivors' triumphs and setbacks, from their experiences on the day of the collapse to their battle for recovery.

“I wanted to find something I could do that was active. I was so injured and inactive for so long,” Ebling told Minnetonka Patch last July. “This was about proving to myself that I can be active even though I have aches and pains as a result of the bridge collapsing.”
