Minnetonka Police use creative Pre-Prom Education for Minnetonka High School

Minnetonka Police Department Officers along with Troopers from the Minnesota State Patrol greeted Minnetonka High School Students on their way to school this morning.

Minnetonka Police Department Officers along with Troopers from the Minnesota State Patrol greeted Minnetonka High School Students on their way to school this morning. As a pre-prom education effort Minnetonka Police Officers handed our Nestle Crunch candy bars to the first 500 students who were wearing their seat belts as they arrived at school Thursday. The candy bars had a wear your seat belt, no texting and no drinking message. All of this is being done in preparation for Minnetonka’s Prom that will be on the 17th. It is a fun way for us to connect with the students and get our message to them to have a fun and most importantly a safe prom.
