Mini-Hops Girls Gymnasts Compete At The Northern Lights Classic

Mini-Hops girl’s compulsory end their season on a dimly note. And the optional teams had a difficult time shining at the Twin Cities Twisters annual Northern Lights Classic.  The competition started early Friday morning March 1, 2013 and ended late Sunday night at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 4 Girls Team

Coached by; Gabrielle Grier and Becky Schneider

Sasha A. (Plymouth) scored 9.450 and tied for 8th on vault, 9.600 and placed 1st on uneven bars, 8.750 and tied for 28th on beam, 9.725 and placed 1st on floor.  Her final score was 37.525 and placed 6th on all-around.

Ava M. (Plymouth) scored 9.500 and tied for 5th on vault, 9.500 and tied for 3rd on uneven bars, 8.550 and tied for 35th on beam, 9.600 and tied for 5th on floor.  Her final score was 37.150 and placed 8th on all-around.

Ana Paula A. (Maple Grove) scored 9.050 and tied for 49th on vault, scored 9.050 and tied for 27th on uneven bars, 8.275 and tied for 49th on beam, 8.700 and tied for 61St on floor. Her final score was 35.075 and placed 47th on all-around.

Sophia N. (Minnetonka) scored 9.250 and tied for 31st on vault, 9.000 and placed 35th on uneven bars, 8.000 and tied for 60th on beam, 8.750 and tied for 59th on floor.  Her final score was 35.000 and placed 50th on all-around.

Sarah F. (Plymouth) scored 8.700 and tied for 75th on vault, 8.700 and tied for 50th on uneven bars, 7.950 and tied for 64th on beam, 9.350 and tied for 24th on floor.  Her final score was 34.700 and placed 51st on all-around.

Erika J. (Plymouth) scored 9.100 and tied for 46th on vault, 8.725 and placed 49th on uneven bars, 7.750 and tied for 69th on beam, 8.950 and tied for 50th on floor.  Her final score was 34.525 and placed 55th on all-around.

Paige M. (Plymouth) scored 9.150 and tied for 40th on vault, 8.250 and tied for 67th on uneven bars, 7.260 and placed 83rd on beam, 8.750 and tied for 59th on floor.  Her final score was 33.400 and tied for 71st on all-around.

Ella M. (Medina) scored 8.750 and tied for 71st on vault, 8.500 and tied for 58th on uneven bars, 7.100 and placed 84th on beam and 8.650 and tied for 64th on floor.  Her final score was 33.000 and placed 75th on all-around.

Cecelia J. (St. Louis Park) scored 7.800 and placed 91st on vault, 8.550 and placed 57th on uneven bars or beam, did not competed on beam, 8.800 and tied for 56th on floor. Her final score was 25.150 and placed 90th on all-around.

Overall team scored 110.600 to claim 4th place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 5 Girls Team

Victoria S. (St. Louis Park) scored 8.000 and tied for 29th on vault, 9.475 and placed 5th on uneven bars, 8.950 and tied for 14th on beam, 8.8500 and tied for 23rd on floor.  Her final score was 35.275 and placed 14th on all-around.

Paige M. (Wayzata) scored 8.225 and placed 19th on vault, 9.150 and tied for 13th on uneven bars, 8.400 and tied for 34th on beam, 9.300 and tied for 8th on floor.  Her final score was 35.075 and placed 17th on all-around.

Sophia C. (Wayzata) scored 8.023 and tied for 27th on vault, 9.050 and placed 16th on uneven bars, 8.250 and placed 40th on beam, 8.850 and tied for 3rd on floor.  Her final score was 34.175 and placed 22nd on all-around.

Caltlyn C. (Plymouth) scored 7.775 and tied for 44th on vault, 8.350 and tied for 30th on uneven bars, 8.550 and tied for 25th on beam, 8.450 and placed 40th on floor.  Her final score was 33.125 and placed 31st on all-around.

Mae M. (Plymouth) scored 6.950 and placed 57th on vault, 7.750 and tied for 40th on uneven bars, 9.050 and tied for 11th on beam, 8.700 and tied for 32nd on floor.  Her final score was 32.450 and tied for 40th on all-around.

Sophia R. (St. Louis Park) scored 7.200 and placed 55th on vault, 5.800 and placed 57th on uneven bars, 8.550 and tied for 25th on beam, 7.650 and tied for 56th on floor.  Her final score was 29.200 and placed 56th on all-around.

Team acquired a score of 105.475 to claim a 3rd place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 6 Girls Team

Level 6 competed according to age brackets (ie. – ages 10 and under, 11, 12+). Individual scores are not separated by age and are computed against the entire session.

Ciboney R. (Crystal, age 10 and under) scored 8.150 and placed 9th on vault, 8.350 and placed 2nd on uneven bars, 9.250 and placed 2nd on beam, 8.675 and tied for 5th on floor.  Her final score was 34.425 and placed 2nd on all-around.

Reese M. (Medina, age 10 and under) scored 7.750 and placed 11th on vault, 5.800 and placed 11th on uneven bars, 8.000 and placed 6th on beam, 8.350 and tied for 8th on floor.  Her final score was 29.900 and placed 9th on all-around.

Maddie W. (Medina, 10 and under) scored 7.625 and placed 12th on vault, 6.500 and placed 10th on uneven bars, 6.900 and placed 11th on beam, 8.050 and placed 9th on floor.  Her final score was 29.075 and placed 11th on all-around.

Taylor N. (Wayzata, age 11) scored 8.400 and tied for 7th on vault, 8.000 and placed 9th on uneven bars, 8.250 and placed 8th on beam, 8.650 and placed 8th on floor.  Her final score was 33.300 and placed 9th on all-around.

Lindsay S. (Minnetonka, age 11) scored 7.725 and placed 13th on vault, 6.000 and placed 14th on uneven bars, 7.250 and placed 13th on beam, 8.450 and placed 11th on floor.  Her final score was 29.425 and placed 13th on all-around.

Team acquired a score of 98.675 to claim a 7th place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 7 Girls Team

Level 7 competed according to age brackets (ie. – ages 11 and under, 12, 13+). Individual scores are not separated by age and are computed against the entire session.

Claire M (St. Louis Park, age 11 and under) scored 8.100 and placed 31st on vault, 7.200 and placed 20th on uneven bars, 7.825 and placed 28th on beam, did not compete on floor.  Her final score was 23.125 and placed 30th on all-around.

Abby F. (Plymouth, age 12) scored 8.550 and placed 28th on vault, 8.275 and placed 20th on uneven bars, 6.950 and placed 30th on beam, 8.850 and tied for 24th on floor.  Her final score was 32.625 and placed 29th on all-around.

Ellie D. (Chanhassen, age 13+) scored 8.350 and placed 12th on vault, 6.100 and tied for 11th on uneven bars, 7.450 and placed 12th beam, 8.200 and placed 10th on floor.  Her final score was 30.100 and placed 12th on all-around. 

Team acquired a score of 85.850 to claim a 9th place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 8 Girls Team

Competition is awarded according to age brackets (ie – 13-14 and 15+).  Individual scores are not separated by age and are computed against the entire session

Alyssa N. (Minnetonka, age 13-14) scored 8.850 and tied for 8th on vault, 7.950 and placed 13th on uneven bars, 9.375 and placed 1st on beam, 9.500 and tied for 3rd on floor.  Her final score was 35.675 and placed 7th on all-around.

Emory L. (Mound, age 13-14) scored 8.475 and placed 13th on vault, 7.150 and placed 14th on uneven bars, 9.025 and placed 5th on beam, 9.425 and placed 5th on floor.  Her final score was 34.075 and placed 12th on all-around.

Kenzie K. (Minnetonka, age 15+) due to injuries only competed on bars with a score of 6.000 and placed 9th.  With a final score of 6.000 Kenzie placed 10th on the all-around.

Team acquired a score of 75.750 to claim an 8th place.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 9 Girls Team

Coached by; Nadya Antanovich, Michaela Chelberg and Pete Lesch.

Emma G. (Minnetonka, age 14-15) due to injuries only competed on bars with a score of 8.40 and placed 4th.  With a final score of 8.400 Emma placed 13th on the all-around.
