“The Wild Trees” Author Richard Preston to Unfold His Spellbinding Story About Life High Above the Giant Redwood Trees of California on April 9 at The Blake School
High above the giant redwood trees of California is a dangerous, hauntingly beautiful and unexplored world filled with hanging gardens of ferns, reefs of lichens, small animals and all sorts of plants. Thick layers of soil sit on limbs that harbor animal and plant life unknown to science. Author Richard Preston will take you on his journey to find this lost world as detailed in his book, “The Wild Trees,” during a free and open-to-the-public event at The Blake School’s Upper School campus (511 Kenwood Parkway, Minneapolis) on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Following his presentation, “A Climb in the Redwoods with Richard Preston,” the author will sign books (not available for purchase at this event).
