Skateboarding Road Trip to
Denver, CO August 11-15 Sponsored by Christian Skaters, Minneapolis and HELP
Boardshop, Edina
Boardshop Edina will be hosting a skateboarding road trip to colorful Denver, CO,
August 11-15. The trip includes skateboarding at several great locations around
Denver including the huge Denver Skate Plaza, the city’s first “Wheel Friendly”
Skate Plaza that is ADA accessible and has pedestrian friendly pathways. The
project has an urban plaza theme that integrates with the adjacent park
playground features. Other venues the group will be visiting include skateboarding
spots in Boulder, Broomfield, Loveland and other locations.
According to trip leader, Ian Wheat: “We are going to skate
some gnarly street spots and phenomenal outdoor plazas! During lunch we will
chill and study the Word. This road-trip is going to be rad!”
This trip is open to young men, age 13 to 18. Cost of the
trip is $250 through July 28 and $300 til August 4 and includes travel, 3 days
park admission, lodging, and food. Interested parties please get in touch with HELP
