Social Security is a critical component of retirement planning and one that can be costly if you are uninformed. It is said that 74% of retired Americans are collecting reduced Social Security benefits likely because they are unaware of options that may increase their benefit payments. This educational seminar will focus on (1) key Social Security Benefit decisions; (2) simple steps that can help maximize your benefit; and (3) how to get started. This presentation is particularly beneficial to persons in their 50s and 60s who are no yet drawing Social Security. The discussion will be led by John Geenen, a financial advisor with Waterfront Financial Group, and Ben Bergherr, a retirement consultant with Allianz Life.
