No musical experience necessary. All songs will be taught by ear, the traditional way, using a simple "call-and-response" method. There will also be live music by professional musicians. The workshop will be led by the dynamic duo, Minnetonka resident musicians Betsy Sansby and Alan Dworsky. Betsy is also a licensed marriage & family therapist who practices in Minnetonka, and leads the popular One World Community Choir on Monday nights at Eisenhower Community Center. She and her husband (Al Dworsky) have written eight books on African drumming & percussion. Al is also the much-loved teacher of the African Drumming class he has been teaching through community ed in Hopkins.
