The Companion: Ruth & Naomi's Story, is a dramatic dance performance depicting the Biblical Story of Ruth, Played by Sophia Hiltner & Naomi, played by Naomi Muhs. The story reflects how God uses relationships to reveal his love, mercy, grace, and redemption. This dance performance is meant as a message to emphasize the importance of recognizing and trusting those who trust in the Lord. Ruth says to Naomi "Where you go, I will follow." The story itself is remarkable, the age and talent of the dancers helps to bring a new dynamic to the tale. During the course of rehearsing, the dancers, ages 10-16, have been taught the importance of entering into God's love and faithfulness in a prayerful, artful, physical way. Some of our performers will offer short testimonies in reflection of how the story relates to their own lives. Don't miss this beautiful interpretation of God's Hesed Love for us!
