Café Scientifique: Top Ten Plants that Changed Minnesota

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the Bell Museum of Natural History
are partnering together to offer a sampler of the Bell Museum's popular
Café Scientifique series this summer in the western suburbs to explore
topics surrounding gardening and the great outdoors.

A happy hour forum for science and culture, this series brings
research from the University of Minnesota and beyond into some of the
Twin Cities' most unique and atmospheric bars and restaurants. Each
monthly gathering explores science and natural history from distinct
and surprising viewpoints, drawing connections between scientific
research, culture, environment and everyday life.

Dr. Mary Meyer, Professor and Extension Horticulturist at the University of Minnesota will talk about the 10 Plants that Changed Minnesota. Cash bar and appetizers available for purchase. Fee: $10.
