Don’t be fooled, the classic award winning book, “Frog
and Toad are Friends” turned TONY nominated Broadway Musical, A YEAR WITH FROG
AND TOAD may seem like just another play for kids, but audiences
and fellow actors will tell you –this is a fantastic show for the whole
family.

The whimsical show, produced by Chaska Valley Family
Theatre, follows two great friends — the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather
grumpy Toad — through four, fun-filled seasons.  Waking from hibernation
in the spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and
learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, all
charm, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD tells the story of a friendship that endures,
weathering all seasons. Plus, The jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody and
wit, making it an inventive, exuberant, and enchanting musical perfect for the
whole family to enjoy!
