What previous political experience do you have (including other governmental positions you’ve held, whether elected, appointed or volunteer)?

  • Previous Experience: First time candidate for public office.
  • Other Relevant Experience: Long time resident of Minnetonka.  Active in local senate district; 3rd congressional district, served as Minnetonka election judge.  Community involvement in non-profits/food shelves, empty bowls.

What is your occupation?

I am a journalist and writer with a background in Social Work. I have also worked in Advertising, Non-Profits and law firms. In addition I am an award winning poet with extensive on-air radio time. I am also an actor.

Minnetonka School District, University of Minnesota

Do you have a spouse, children or any other family members you’d like to tell voters about?

My family consists of myself, siblings and families

What are your campaign goals? 

Communication; Recognition; Commitment; Participation; Change.

What issues are you most focused on?

Fair balanced growth with improved communication; Commitment to neighborhoods with Respect for Future Generations;  Sustainable Development; Improved Public Transportation; Support for Local Businesses; Seniors as the spearhead of main street rebirth; Veterans issues as local concerns – receive, thank, heal, protect, love.

Why should voters choose you?

I am a long time Minnetonka neighborhood resident. Minnetonka taught me the value of commitment to community, sensitivity to issues which directly affect our neighborhoods, the enjoyment of local shopping and dining, and the expectation of employment opportunities along with safe family living amongst the lakes, beaches and trails. I hope to help continue this tradition.
