Only a Little Bit Longer for Leaf, Yard Waste Drop-Off

Residents only have a little bit longer to drop off leaf and yard waste at the Minnetonka Public Works facility.

The leaf drop-off is open to Minnetonka residents, but the last day it’s available is May 14.

Residents can drop off leaf and yard waste on the west side of the building, near the Big Willow ball fields. You will need proper identification to verify you are a Minnetonka resident—such as a driver’s license, state I.D. or Minnetonka utility bill.

There will be expanded drop-off days during the busiest times.  In addition to the normal operating schedule, the site will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Sundays, May 5 and May 12, and from noon to 6 p.m. May 10.

Truck and trailer loads of leaves will be accepted only at Minnetonka Public Works during brush drop-off hours on the following days and times:

• Mondays (May 6 and May 13): noon to 8 p.m.
• Tuesdays (May 7 and May 14): noon to 8 p.m.
• Saturdays (May 11): 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
