Bites Nearby: Deli by the Bay

From sandwiches to soups, you'll find an authentic deli experience.

The setting of  at 436 Union Place in Excelsior might seem more fitting for a seafood restaurant than a deli.

Chuck Gross’ success in his boat catering business spawned the idea for the restaurant, which claims to bring old-fashioned deli style food to downtown Excelsior.

Fresh food is a staple at the deli. All the soups are made fresh every morning, and each sandwich is handcrafted to order right in front of the customer.
