Let's Talk Vikings: Vikings Aim for First Win Against Cardinals

The (0-4) Vikings take on the (1-3) Cardinals, as the Vikings play a must-win game at the Metrodome.

The winless Vikings take on the Cardinals on Sunday at the Metrodome. The Vikings are coming off a 22-17 loss last week to the Chiefs. The Cardinals lost a close game, 31-27, to the New York Giants.

Keys To the Game:

1. The Cardinals have given up 12 sacks this season, thanks in large part to their weak offensive line. With Jared Allen and the Vikings D-Line, the Vikings will look to sack and pressure QB Kevin Kolb.

2. Adrian Peterson has started slow so far this season and it will be interesting to see if this is the game when he gets going. So far the Cardinals have not allowed 100 yards rushing in a game.

3. Can the Vikings cover Larry Fitzgerald? The Cardinals WR jumps high to make catches, and the Vikings weak safeties have been notorious for allowing long passes to go over them. If the Vikings can shut down the Cardinals wide receivers, then that will set up many scoring opportunities for their offense.

If the Vikings win this week, it will be an enormous victory as they attempt to earn back their 4 losses so far.
